Bio

Samuel Coniglio is a photographer, computer guru, and space travel visionary.  Capturing the moment as fast as he can photograph it, Samuel loves being in the middle of the action.  He shoots unusual events: robot shows, space conferences and Burning Man gatherings. 

In 2004 he photographed the flight of Space Ship One, the winner of the $10 million international Ansari X PRIZE competition. As part of the X PRIZE TV film crew, he documented all three of the historic flights of the first successful private spaceship. 

His photographs have been used by 60 Minutes, the California Space Authority, Yuri's Night, X PRIZE Foundation, National Space Society, Space Tourism Society, Robotics Society of America, WIRED online, and ROBOT and SERVO magazines.

Samuel has a B.A. in English from the University of Central Florida.
