Airships
“Two words are verboten on this airship: hydrogen and Hindenberg.” Fritz Guenther, the world's most experienced airship pilot, scolded me. I was a a freelance reporter on a press flight of Airship Ventures’ new Zepplin NT airship. Yes the ZEPPELIN company still exists in Germany, and no they do not use flammable gases.
Amazingly quiet for its size, the vessel feels like a cruise ship. After the two pilots and one flight attendant, there’s room for twelve passengers. A panoramic view can be seen from its rear window. In fact some the windows are open, because the airship does not move fast, nor does it go too high.
